This kitchen renovation was completed for a family home in Maidstone, Kent. The property featured an outdated kitchen that no longer suited the family’s lifestyle or layout. MST Building Services Ltd were brought in to completely transform the space — delivering a brighter, more open, and functional design that blended modern style with long-term practicality.
Client’s Challenge
The original kitchen was dark, cramped, and inefficient, with limited worktop space and dated fittings. The client wanted a full redesign that would open up the area, improve flow between the kitchen and dining spaces, and create a more social environment for family and guests — all while staying within a reasonable budget and timescale.
Our approach and solution
Our team began by removing the old units and appliances before carrying out structural work to open up the space and introduce more natural light. New plumbing, electrics, and plastering were completed, followed by the installation of bespoke cabinetry, tiled flooring, and LED task lighting.
